Eight Types of Acne
Identify the type of acne that may arise in your face. Then determine how to overcome them.
Acne occurs due to clogged pores, so that oil, dead skin cells, and bacteria cannot be out. The result is irritation or inflammation in the area. Acne usually starts to appear at the age of puberty and could worsen the oily skin types.
There are many types of acne. Do not push them. Try to overcome by carefully cleaning the skin twice a day, especially at night before bed. There was no powerful acne drug, if the skin is not cleaned regularly.
The common types of acne:
1. Papules
Papule is a soft, reddish (pink) acne. Do not push because it will aggravate the scars. Forehead and cheeks are frequently target of this acne.
2. Blackheads
There are two types of blackheads, black and white. White blackheads caused due to closed pores, so the oil, bacteria and dead skin cells are stuck. As a result, white dots appear on the skin surface. Blackheads are the cycle is shorter than the black one.
Black Blackheads occur when the pore is only partially blocked, so the oil, bacteria and dead skin cells do not flow smoothly into the skin surface. The black color that appears is not a dirt. That is melanin, the oxidized skin pigment. Black blackheads are usually stay longer in the skin.
3. Pustules
This type of acne is a red inflamed small bump. In the middle of it is white or yellow pus. Inflammation is usually caused by chemical irritants rather than bacterial. Keeping the skin clean and healthy diet is quite effective against comedones, papules, and pustules.
4. Nodules
These type of acne is severe, larger than pustules, painful, and does not go away for months. It is hard lump under the skin, easy to relapse. Do not push. This should be handled by dermatologist to reduce swelling and prevent scarring. Dermatologist may do cortisone injections.
5. Cystic Acne
Cystic acne is pus-filled sores that are larger and more painful than the nodules. This acne appears in the place that quite far below the skin. Squeeze pimples can cause infection, more painful inflammation, and leave deep scars. Cortisone injections by dermatologist can be done to reduce swelling and prevent scarring.
6. Rosacea
This reddish rash experienced by aged 30 years and over. Appears on the cheeks, nose, forehead, and chin. May also appear spots of acne, and skin to be damaged. This condition should be addressed to the dermatologist.

Wow
There are many different types of acne, some more severe than others, but having a bad complexion makes a person feel less confident about their looks. It’s important to see a dermatologist so he can prescribe the right medications.
